6 by 6 Johnson County Library Ready to Read

Johnson County Library is launching a new early childhood literacy program, 6 by 6: focusing on the 6 skills that children need to help them prepare to read.

4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Meet children's illustrator Brad Sneed at 4:00. Early literacy information, parenting resources and hearing and speech screenings for ages four to six years from 4:30-5:30. Bongo Barry sings silly song favorites at 5:30. Ask for your own tour of Johnson County Library's new interactive environment designed to foster early literacy skills. Snacks provided. Children and their families are cordially invited!
