@MrDarkTides Agree ! I read some comments about using these cubes. As Marco said : Making sauce and stock at home takes lot of time and money. With these recipes Marco brings "fine dining" at home,at you table.

@MrDarkTides if you actually have read his books you'd know he doesn't much engage in drinking like the MEDIA has made it seem. He's never been much into drugs either. Read Devil In The Kitchen and you will begin to understand the kind of man he is and why he is so well respected around the world as a cook/chef.

@MrDarkTides I agree! I'm so fed up of hearing people say ''Oh hes a sell out, he's using stock cubes, you'd never see Gordon doing that''. Are people failing to remember this guy won THREE michelen stars, regardless of whether he gave them back or not, the guy is a genius, has it ever crossed anyones mind that hes endorsing Knorr stockcubes not just for the money, but because he's used them all his life?! Most of which you can see evidence of in his shows! People are SO easy to criticize.
In fairness he has used stock cubes for years, this is nothing new to him. Who cares if he wants to make a little money by promoting a brand? These recipes are mostly excellent, they are guidelines so if you don't want to use the cubes - don't.
He's a flawed genius, loves a drink and sometimes loses his temper but he really knows how to cook.
Stop looking for flaws, look at the food he makes instead!
