Perform a Master Reset with the Pantech Pocket™
Welcome to AT&T How to videos.
Today we will show you how to Perform a Master Reset with the Pantech Pocket™
Please Note: Your device will be set back to factory settings; all data stored on the device will be lost. The device may not be functional for up to 15 minutes after a master reset is performed. Information saved on your memory card will not be affected.
From the home screen, press the Menu key, and then tap Settings
Now scroll to and tap Privacy
Here tap Factory data reset
A notification will be displayed review the notification and then tap Reset phone
Please Note: Tap to check Format USB Storage to remove all saved media and applications from an inserted Micro SD memory card. If security is enabled you will be prompted to enter your security PIN, Password, or Pattern
Now tap Erase Everything
Now we will show you an alternate method of master resting your Pantech Pocket™
Begin by powering your device off
Now press and hold the Home, Volume Down, and Power keys until an exclamation point is displayed next to an Android™ on-screen
Here press the Home key to view the Android system recovery options
Press the Volume Down to scroll to "Wipe data/Factory reset" and then press the Menu key to select
Now press the Volume Down again and select "Yes -- delete all user data" and then press the Menu key to select
When the "Data wipe complete" is displayed, select reboot system now
