I was a high school freshman in '53, and the Five Keys got my high school years started perfectly!

My Aunt Vicki Young wrote "Let There Be You" with Dave Cavannaugh which The Five Keys sang to PERFECTION. I sure would love to get a video of them singing that song. Would mean the world to our family....

I know that is Dempsey Spencer singing because he's my grandfather. They have been together for a very long time and yes that was in 2005 in England I believe. Not sure of how many originals are left but they still sound great and have plenty talent. Thanks for all the great comments.

I have their sheet music for all their songs! I bought them at a pawn shop and I am looking at them right now. This is crazy I had no idea they where big!

I think they are Maryland Pierce,Dempsey Spencer and Oliver Sidney,George Winfield from the Chateaus and Rudy Wests keys.
The Newport News groups were always close.
Truly great, hope they be around forever.

how many of these guys are the originals? was this actually from 2005? In view of the fact that the 5 keys version was from the veryearly fifties these guys were in remarkably good shape.
