Je crois, que la compréhension est plus importante que la traduction.

Il faut prendre le dictionnaire soit si t'a rien compris, soit après la compréhension, pour être sur, que tu a bien compris.

Here are some examples for asking directions in English

Can you tell me how to get to ....?

How do I get to ... ?

What's the best way to ...?

Can you give me directions to ....?

Excuse me. Do you know where....is?
