Beautiful story and quite a wonderous turning point in your life.A few of my circle of friends and I had just graduated high school and hitchiked from Calif. to this life changing event. I clearly remember (that in itself is remarkable) that smell you mention. Poop-shis I've always called it.The very next concert we attended was Altamont and a year later I found myself in Viet Nam.Those ...were a combination of wonderful and crazy times. Peace bro.

I was 11 in 69 & saw Woodstock in a theater in Chicago. But the 60s sort of molded me as a child that created a peace loving anti establishment 53 year old woman I am now. Your right on about Sly & the Family Stones I want to take you Higher song because it did take you to a higher sence what life should be about!
