I wish I could join this club. People at my club get so mad that they will walk over and stomp on their plane if it crashes and then leave. At least you guys have fun with it. In fact, even though nobody likes to crash, it will happen from time to time and you gotta have fun with it.

Why we would be more then happy to have you aboard the club, we have a great bunch of flyers, if a plane goes down we are all willing to help fix anyone's plane.

The hobby is meant to be fun and we all have a blast. It always hurts to lose a plane no doubt but you might as well smile and enjoy the show as its about to happen. anything can always be fixed.

That was GREAT!! The music - LOL! I've made that walk many times. Your club looks like you enjoy flying as much as mine (I've seen a couple members throw a tantrum, but most laugh it off and tease each other. Thanks for the laughs! Happy flying in 2011, folks.

Yes I am sure I would enjoy that too, What really surprised me about the helis is just how much the wind doesn't really effect them compared to a plane, to a certain degree anyway. I thought completely the oposite all these years, As far as I'm concerned. if it flys and is RC I'm in. I really enjoy the building of them as much as the flying. I'm doing 2 scratch builds right now.

The complexity of the heli is what I enjoy, well that and the idea of every flight being akin to balancing a ping-pong ball on a paddle.

They are great stress relief due to the level of concentration required to fly them, and shear amount of time required to have them working right.

I was thinking a trainer would be a good option for winder days, and also a less 'crash ready' option for getting stick response to that instinct lever that we need.

I highly recommend it, its a very addicting hobby for sure, I will be getting a heli soon myself. As I've been doing the planes for 40 years now and it never gets old.
