@vain1r I have a 500r and it is a complete pain in the butt and once you get it on you have to worry about it being too close or touching the exhaust. The only way I have found to keep it off the exhaust is to use the footpeg as a resting spot. Maybe im still doing it wrong but I have had a hard time using the helmet lock. There is a video somewhere on youtube that shows you how to do it so type in "how to lock your helmet on ninja 500" and you should get results that will pop up a vid.

My first bike was a 02 ninja 636, it is a very forgiving bike and has way more power than you need, Its a good starter bike. Not to mention 45-54 MPG!!!

The 500 is great all around. Efficient, low insurance, more power than you'll ever need. If you are thinking about a 250, definitely get a 500.

@PizzaDaHut05 If the 750 is a sports bike, i suggest leave it alone. If it is a cruiser you might get away with it. Make all your mistakes on the 500 then upgrade.

Nice looking ride. thinking about getting same thing for my first motorcycle, or some 750...something from my neighbor. Haven't gotten into to great of detail on that...
