WoW Skin Changes

"Just showing off for some friends my skin changes on world of warcraft. gnoll cat form, baby murloc travel form, etc. No sound, just demonstrations of changed skins."

Yes, these are the exact model changes used by Claw from warcraftmovies.com. I idolize his skill and reflex back in the day, and realized that some of his edits were very helpful, not to mention 'cool'.

This was created back in 2006, before even TBC. Yes, it is possible to do this. No, I won't teach or make you patches. Look it up yourself. No, I am not a "clicker". No, this has nothing to do with GMs or a private server.

I grow weary of checking on my past videos only to find many ignorant comments. I have added notations to this video to give a little insight to those of you who are too dull-minded to realize simple things for yourselves, and are quick to put yourselves above others.

Now then, I am currently building a 1.12 private server, while also designing a model for a Red Fox (completely custom model and skin). Anything I might not know about, such as different programs or techniques used in doing this, would be a great contribution.

Hey, it's me again. I haven't checked back here lately, and no I'm not going to explain to each one of you how to do it. This is just to show that it is still possible, but as it is against the Blizzard TOS, and I have asked them personally, I am not going to aid anyone in breaking the TOS. I can tell you it has to do with making your own patch though. If you really don't care about getting banned, feel free to search google or yahoo about it, as that is how I learned.

this is NOT an addon, i'm tired of people acting like they know things they don't. it is not a program. it is done by creating a 'patch' like those stored in your WoW data folder. these patches give new models/skins to certain model/skin names, such as redirecting DruidCatSkinBlack to something like EtherialSkin_Black. I will NOT explain how to do it to any more leechers, use a search engine like the smart people.

Also, I am making a video showing that you CAN still change models, and to almost whatever you want. I will be doing this on my druid, if you would like to see something specific in my video let me know. Yes, i can change weapons and armor too. even the ground, or sky.

where could i get some skins for catform from? im sick to death of the view on it and havin to go half way up someones ass to "be behind them"

i don't see how you can get tired of it, its really one of the best models imo. and as for the range bug, that will always be a problem. changing the model will probably not fix it. personally, i have seen this bug 3-4 times where it really annoyed me, and i PvP a lot. for all you know, changing the model may make it worse (though it probably won't affect anything in any way.)

A friend made my character look like a dragon once, and made himself look like a giant scarab-thing. Since I was horde and he was alliance, we went into a bg and started fighting.
