You said it all. Hand drawn cartoons are way better. The people that do those boring computer-animation just don't have the skill and patience it takes to be a great artist. It's basically just typing out mathematical formulas to make the characters move. There's no art in it anymore, no talent required either.
I personally believe we need to bring back hand-drawn and start a new "Golden Age" of animation.
Saturday morning must must really dull without a few good ole hand-drawn cartoons.
Sigh.

Right on! I HATE CGI and computer drawn cartoons. The art of it is lost when using a computer. I'm going to college for animation, and if I can get a cartoon in the movies or on TV, I'm gonna make cartoons the old fashioned way! Like the Fleischers and Disney!

this is the same issue with the new cartoons that are computer animated were is the good old hand drawn cartoons. Things change not always for the best.

That was delightful! Really made me miss when "games were games"! Awesome posting!
Seeburg was the ones that made Ray-o-lite as well, right? I mean these people made electronic arcade games in the 1930s!!!

Actually, Phoebus was the original inventor and developer. They had two teams working, one doing the rifle, trying to make the light beam act as a bullet, short and direct, and the other doing targets. They started with duck hunt and had several others.
Their hope was to teach infantry to shoot during World War II, without having to use live ammunition, wanting to save that scarce resource for the war itself.
Seeburg later purchased the company and license.

Good Question! I wonder how the XBox conversion will sound? Will you get all the clicks and chunks?
Also computers are too perfect. The fun in an old fashion game are the mistakes the game makes and how you have to get to know it to get a high score.
Thanks for the comment,
Michael
