Called coil whine or choking. Disable C3/C6 and problem goes away. Quite common apparently. Google "coil whine" if you want to waste an arvo reading.

@skipalami Yeah, thanks ;) Figured it out a while back. It was the C states that was screwing it up. Works like a charm now ;)

Just fixed the problem.. it was the C states that was making something whine.. the explanation?? Something electrical.. Great!! :)
But who cares.. it does not get warm or use that much power anyways.. so my solution was easy.. disable all the C-states in BIOS
