I never understood why they named Pete Kershaw "sneaky"
To me he will always be "scintillating", "blistering" or "explosive". He is the true riffs master!! Was it true he nearly got the gig in Whitesnake in 1984? Will the story behind this ever be fully explained?

I'd agree with your choice of adjectives as well. As for 'Sneaky' - it's a historical reference. In the Honkin' Hep Cats, we all had jive-ass nicknames in the tradition of Damon Runyan's Guy's & Dolls, set in prohibition era New York. I'd always thought Sneaky Pete was a real musician from that time whose nickname we just borrowed (I was 'rubberlegs' after a saxophonist 'rubberlegs williams').
