Just set a motion clip for the ES song item, Screenmonkey layers will cover the ES motion layer, but the ES lyrics can be shown above the Screenmonkey layers by using Alt-Tab.

Thanks for sharing the trick. I've tried to do the same but is not able to produce the same result. The problem i faced: once I project the video file using SM, the lyric from Easislides will overlapped or hide in the background? How can I overcome this so that the lyric from easislides will always be visible in the foreground? Thank you.

Ensure to use ES v4.04/4.05, not v4.10
and tick the box "Don't using overlay for media..." in setting window of ES.
Then the ES lyrics layer can be switched on/off independently from the ES motion background layer by using Alt-Tab.
