Backyard Snowboarding in Brookfield Wisconsin 2011

Some footage of me snowboarding in my backyard... Not a huge kicker but I am an old man with a lot of nasty old injuries trying to get back on the board after seven years of barely riding. I am going to extend the drop-in soon to get more speed and also build some permanent features. My jump is usually too soft to really set an edge and pop off of. My rail/spine was hastily made and super sketch, which is why you don't see me using it.

@rocktnt12345 I am almost done with the new drop-in. Added a four foot section to the top and another spot to drop in from lower so i have three levels. Also put in railings and grips like in boardercross. I built a kicker from wood and I am going to get a bunch of hay bales to build up the landing. Built a PVC rail and I am working on a 16 foot box... Also removed a bunch of bushes, branches and crap and put in a nice lighting system. I need a snowgun next...

@Jamarikle Yeah well it better be soon because the city has ordered me to dismantle it. Really not cool. I don't know what the big deal is, but I could go to jail? Date for removal is Feb 3. If I have to go through with it I have some temporary, portable designs in mind, but my drop in sure is nice the way it is now! It is going to be a bitch to take down. Damn the man... Got a few runs in at least. Wooden kicker and haybales saved me a lot of snow gathering.

Nice set up. I am also an old Wisconsin man (43). After 12 years in FL obsessed with surfing, I moved back to Appleton in 07 and crossed over to snowboarding. Now I'm obsessed again. I put up a good size backyard ramp with a box. I'm starting to build a C box and rails for this season.
