@ekstianity Yes it was. If garcia's younger brother had been fighting Pacquiao instead he would have stopped it after 8. It was disgraceful even pacquiao didnt have the heart to finish him off. The point is that Margo will carry the effects of those final 4 rounds with him the rest of his life long after the bruisees have healed. @ekstianity in theory the ref is responsible. The reality is that the ref is paid by the promoters and therefore feels some responsibility to give the crowd their "money's worth" and almost always let fights go on too long. Garcia was responsible however because the damage to MArgarito didnt occur suddenly unnoticed by garcia. Margo returned to the corner time and again after being battered and had no chance to win the fight after the 8th round. What are you talking about?

Take a look at the end of round 14 of Ali frazier 3 or the end of Pacquiao Barrera 1-or a million other fights when the chief second has done his duty and stopped the fight saving his man from further punishment even when the fighter himself is determined to continue. Where did you learn about boxing pal? By watching Rocky III?

Garcia you are a fucking disgrace. The trainer is supposed to be in charge. Margo was taking such a beating even pacquiao felt sorry for him. You ruined Margo now you are making more money off of his hide by fighting cotto. Magarito will sustain even more brain damage which is cumulative and irreversible. You are a danger to your fighters and should be banned from the sport
