Throughout the course of life, gender roles are engrained in people by family, friends, media, and education to the point that they are almost incontrovertible. Due to the nature of this influence, individuals have little, if any, say in the gendered roles they are forced to conform to. What happens when the gender roles of something as traditional as the modern courting ritual are reversed? On the night of November 11, three brave DePaul University students found out at Exchequer Restaurant.
