Ordway Center Spotlight on: Irving Berlin. Take a look into the life and career of Irving Berlin in an interview with James Rocco. For more information visit: www.ordway.org
I never understood the fact that my father hated the song White Christmas,,his father died when this song came out! Never the less its one of my most favorite..Christmas songs of all....Its bitter sweet though...because of the way my father acted when he heard this song!
It's a bit ironic that we can thank two Jewish men for Christmas, White Christmas, Easter and Easter Parade, happy holidays. Issy was a rare talent and Jesus probably was too.
This is a good report on Irving Berlin, but it is not an "interview" of Irving Berlin. Therefore, the title is misleading.

Great, great tribute. Irving Berlin (1888 - 1989) earned every accolade awarded him in his lifetime, and infinitely more.
