I love this bird!! My budgie talks but not when anyone is around. When it is real quiet and he thinks no one is around I can hear him saying things, can't make them out but it sounds like and old man talking. He does say pretty boy. Your bird is awesome!

I love this!!!! I never knew parakeets could be so darned cute, tame, funny and talkative!! Is he a male? Did you raise him or get him at a pet shop? I have a hand raised love bird that is 9 months old. (I hand fed him) I really like your birdie! :)

Bought him from a ramshackle (in a shack) bird breeder in Tokyo when he was a few weeks old - then hand fed him.
He's getting cuter by the day!

As someone who's lived among the hollow-boned set, specifically budgies, for many years... I have to ask you: did you choose Sven based on any particular attributes of his, or were you just lucky to get such a wonderful bird? I've been enjoying these Sven vids for months!

I chose Sven simply because of his colours (though when he was just a few weeks old it was hard to tell), and his friendly personality.
