  • My uncle likes the Bears too!!

  • This had to be the first video game with college teams. They had some odd choices for teams though, like Vermont (no football program since 1974!)

Also, this has to be the only game ever to have a high school level. It had my school's color combo, but none of our rivals though.

  • @FearlessSwan I had this game as a kid...didn't know of Madden football at the time. Played this all the time!!!

  • This is the only video game that ever really captured the true spirit of football, in my generic opinion. it isn't supposed to be some kind of glamorous sport with a bunch of pretty boys dancing like pussies in the end zone. It has morphed into something resembling "professional" wrestling.

  • Hey, remember when LA had TWO football teams? trollface.jpg

  • Ready, set, f... Wait, what's he saying?

  • Alabama had an awesome running back in this game. I wonder if it was Derrick Lassic--who wasn't too bad in college but crap for the Cowboys.

And you can't forget about Windy Belt... errr Vanderbilt.

  • denver broncos FTW!

  • ch ch ch chip and dale lol thats wat the beginning of the theme sounded like

  • @thatdudecozz89 I meant "Vanderbilt"...lol

  • I remember the very first time I played this I got a 74 yard return. Wasn't a very hard game....

  • @royalguard56 Yeah Football in the 90s was great. The Lions were very good in the 90s now we don't know what happened to them. The Oilers had some wild uniforms in the NFL but were cool to look at like their helmets. The Seahawks had their strong players on the team.

Alot of teams in the 90s were very good and strong like The Cowboys who won three Superbowls.
