'Rainy days & Saturdays' live @ Rough Trade London. -The Opiates are Billie Ray Martin and Robert Solheim.
Although Kraftwerk and Yazoo have been mentioned as influences, their very unique brand of electronic music is as much Carpenters as it is cutting-edge electro, with a nod to current minimal influences.

  • hi there. we haven't found a release opportunity yet, hence the album not being out. working on it. so who knows.b

  • its off by a mile, but there`s potential there

  • Of course, this is obviously where the Carpenters quote is lurking dramatically from. This is like staring up at the guillotine and thinking "what the hell."

Their ebb and flow finds the crucial throb which is their making as far as I am concerned. Does billie sing something about "je regrette the internet"?

  • fucking brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
