The balance of Corporate media over pubic broadcasting is ridiculous. I would much rather trust news and content that isn't pushed by hamburgers, insurance companies, big oil and laundry detergent. People have been so brainwashed by beltway media and cheap commercial content. A big thanks to public broadcasting for showing the other side and delivering excellent content.

"Public" Broadcasting is state-run media, like in the old Soviet Union.
Aside from stolen tax money, it is primarily funded by tax-exempt foundations. So no wonder you never hear PBS commentators saying the richest people should be paying taxes. Why doesn't the Carnegie family pay any taxes at all? PBS won't touch that question, will they?
I'd love to pay no taxes and instead bankroll my own personal propaganda machine.
