    Want to add a bit. The Montgomery Bus Boycott was, in reality, the agitation generated by African-American women that forged the protest. An incident, similar to the one that happened to Ida B. Wells, happened to Jo Ann Gibson Robinson. That incident culminated in organizing and planning by the Women's Political Council in 1949, six years before the 1955 boycott was called.
