People at that time were so spoiled with good music that it was hard for other good songs to reach to Billboards.
Nowadays it is miracle to have songs with beautiful instumentation and lyrics nowadays. Musicians are so depedent on fake beats and autotune.
Adele brought some spark back to a soulless industry hopefully it will help some of the youth really recongize what good music is.
It is more than just beats music has to speak to your soul.
