Beautifully haunting song. Probably my favorite song of hers. Very interesting lyrics and chord changes. Love that change from major to minor at the end. What I wouldn't give to see this live!

Kate is truly great. She is brilliantly unusual. So many artists go overly 'kooky' and Kate just IS! She may say that she isn't anything special and she just expresses herself in her own unique way, but she would say that she's nothing fantastic herself in her interviews, because most geniuses downplay their gift and shrug their shoulders.I'm glad it hasn't gone to her head. Makes her all the more extraordinary. This is a beautiful song, love the video too.

Wonderful stuff. Just one tiny disappointment - it would have been nice if she'd had the hint of a bump in the video. I have always assumed the sister committed suicide soon after she realised she was pregnant, not after she'd given birth and had time to get a flat stomach again!

Otherwise perfect - and I feel the funeral barge strongly links this song to the title track of her second album, Lionheart.

A very disturbing but very beautiful video for a very brilliant song. It demonstrates just how uniquely talented this lady is. Imagine! A seventeen-year-old writing about incest with that level of emotional depth - expressed in her voice as much as the pain, the sheer tortuous emotion, is etched on her face. There hadn't been anyone like her before and there hasn't been since. I don't believe there ever will be again. Kate is a national treasure.
