Crashing into Reef in the Whitsundays with Our Rental Yacht

A video taken when we hit the reef with our rental yahct when I studied abroad in Australia. The video doesn't really capture the true horror of the situtation but crashing a boat your rented into a reef does make you think sometimes insurance isn't a bad word.

I just got back from a Whitsundays sailing trip - it's not that hard to identify shallow areas on the chart and stay away. Enjoy your fines.
