We patrolled the UCLA campus for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books and caught up with the NY Times Best Seller "The Kind Diet" author Alicia Silverstone on the Cooking stage. Alicia, who rose to stardom via some pretty sexy Aerosmith videos and her portrayal of Cher Horowitz in the sleeper hit 'Clueless' in 1995, is a committed animal activist and conservationist. The 33-year-old beauty released her best seller which she said "wasn't not written for the vegans or the vegetarians but for everyday people."
