i liked dave, but i got to admit tom rocks. Dave left because he wanted to create another band. His band is not as good as sum 41 so he failed

@Sum41FoEva Because Dave never contributed to Sum ? Dave may be worse that Tom in vocals but what about his riffs, his solos ?

And don't forget it's the Dave's heavy side which made Sum so famous in the first album (Half Hours of Power)

Dave wasn't a good singer at all, and couldnt write lyrics and was very sloppy. when he played. Tom has way better vocals (obviously) and can write lyrics, and actually contributes to the band and doesnt just whine about wanting to play heavier music. sorry im dissing dave, (Sum41 is my fav band btw) but tom is obviously better. he plays theses songs flawlessly and has way better vocals, and his backing vocals are perfect. plus he co wrote screaming bloody murder. as dave didnt write lyrics.
