2/2 Now I'm not trying to deny Zidane was a great player because we all know he was and is amazing. Fact of the matter is Materazzi is an agitator, and it's part of his game to frustrate the opponent which as you can see worked. Zidane amazing player yes, let his emotions get to him yes. So in conclusion enough with the Materazzi bashing because at the end of the day he stopped a player that Brazil, Spain, and Portugal could not stop.

Spoken by someone who clearly has never played a sport in his/her life. If you did play any sort of competitive sport you would know that there is constant shit talking going on all over the place, this is done to get the other player off their game and frustrate them. I don't condone it, but it's part of all competitive sports. Why don't you see more players reacting like Zidane did? Well it's simple players are trained to ignore it, Zidane chose not to ignore it and thus got himself ejected.
