  • I can relate and empathize. Doctors don't really care, they are in business to make $. You were only on .75 mg and you had those kinds of withdrawals!? That is scary! I started xanax 2 months ago at .5mg, I'm down to .25mg, and I'm having some withdrawals...mainly dizziness and anxiety. I had a few body/brain jolts that scared the crap outta me. I think I'm gonna switch to a low dose of ativan for sleep, and ween off that. You have to ween off these drugs, cold turkey WDs are BRUTAL.

  • Thas fucked up bro, I suffer from anxiety and we share a lot of the same symptoms, Im thinking about taking xanax every other day before bed, when I get very anxious...

  • withdrawal is EVIL! Ive gone through paxil withdrawal twice, it's like dying... but only! to be born again!

  • Benzo addiction is hell on earth. I really hope for the best man. It's scary shit as you probably know. But it gets better you just need to keep fighting.

  • For the heart rate problem you should try a drug called Atenalol, it is a beta-blocker and will slow your heart beat----as for as everything else I have heard..I'v been there..in 1981 a doctor decided to treat my anxiety and panic with a daily dose of 8mg of Xanax! And then pulls the carpet out from under my feat by cutting me off after 6 months....from that point on I wished that I was in Hell 'cause there is no way it could be as bad as the withdrawals i went through!

  • Excuse me? But where the fuck were you finding such terrible doctors?

  • sorry to hear that man were are u from? if u were from my area i would found you a doctor that would of helped you in 24hours in time ive bin in your situation they put me on valium to withdrawal is was hell even tho i had the valium is still wasnt enough to get threw the sick days and i barely ate and felt as if i was going go into a seizure

  • Been to alot of doc's myself NONE of them listen to us! They put us on this shit then decide time to go off they dont realize wtf happens to you while ur body goes into seizures, the sickness and the whips, lightheaded ect. Then they get pissed cuz ur always considered to bitch or tell them whats happening to u. I cried constantly NONE would help me!To this day I'm paranoid scared ect. they say anxiety no shit! I know the difrrence now i'm more screwed up now then what i was!! I FEEL FOR YOU!!!

  • I have noticed creepy shit done by doctors when i was in the hospital one placed a fentanyl patch on me while being on all kinds of other stuff like oxy, from a broken femur...it almost killed me.

  • My brother is a doctor and he is fanatically aware of benzo withdrawal. In fact, he flat out refuses to prescribe them regardless of the condition. The only exception is severe alcohol withdrawal (which I'm sure you know can lead to DTs and be fatal). There he will prescribe a one week dose IN a clinical in-patient program. He says benzos are the worst possible drug in terms of long term withdrawal, bar none. NEVER take them.
