Could you imagine auditioning this chick thinking "oh great, a chick" then having her blow the fuck up like she does? She's def one of the most underrated female vocalist of our era and I'm not even a huge metal fan. Otep is one of the very few groups I get into because they carry a message that you can understand and relate to.

@TheCabCheese So true; speaking solely about Otep the lead singer, she has a sort of 'emotional overdrive; when she performs. massive stage presence and a lot of charisma. Fans know what happened to her, and i think it's because of this that she is able to be so...powerful. Too bad people just assume she's another 'non conformist rebel' because she's a metal artist, but hey, what can we do but enjoy her music ourselves?
