  • thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to film your great technics Fi. Love all of you work.:-) This would be so gorgeos for a cover on a steampunk album. Wish you a great evening my friend.

    Hugs, Anne

  • @xannero1 Thank you Anne :) I simply cannot waste anything lol lol lol. Like the idea of using this on a steampunk project. Did you see the video where I used face cream instead of a gel medium lol lol lol. Add the right ingrediants and you make a cheaper alternative for background texture :) Full of darn ideas I am Anne, one can have sleepless nights at time because of how my brains works ha ha ha xxx

  • No kidding....pencil shavings! Wow I'd never have thought it! I use mechanical pencils, but my boyfriend uses regular ones, so I've got some shavings already. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Hugs

  • @rsingr100 Thanks for the tip - I tried tape, strong glue, even 2 part putty to no avail. I'll try the wrap if sadly there is a next time.

  • Great tehnique! Will do great even in an art journal! tfs!

  • @GlendaCairns I have had this happen too and I have used plastic wrap and put the lid back on. When the lid has cracked so bad, I have used the plastic wrap and a small elastic band.

  • Fiona, I've had 2 of my 3 Rub n Buff lids split. I've tried everything to patch them up, but sadly the paste is drying out very fast. If you come up with any way to save it, I'd be interested. I've now started storing the tubes in a plastic container to see if that helps, but I'm not sure it is. I've just bought 3 new colours - they are so expensive - and I'm hoping they won't do the same thing. The split tubes were hardly used. Glenda

  • Great idea, look forward to seeing the finished tags, TFS Jackie

  • @Jennings644 Have to find that video lol. Know about sleepless night also. Can be so stressed of to many ideas hehe

  • I just posted my very first mini yesterday, I am so pleased with how it turned out. They are so much fun. Kris's one you made is one of my favorites. Who would ever think of using pencil shavings for texture? Fiona would, thats who! This is going to be so pretty when you are done, love the texture

  • Sorry new tag holders il have a look xx
