  • Only people with egos go 100% These guys are champions with nothing to prove. Why would they go 100%?

  • @130kali agreed

  • Guys like JT and Ryan Hall are world level competitors now ,and Marcello sweeps and submits them at will. Incredible, that's all there is to it.

  • @massivojohnson I'll take that as a huge compliment coming from YOU!

  • @kanguesso Your a clown.

  • @carlsongracieteam Because maybe i just wanted to see them go really hard at each other, that's all. I just wanted to see it.

  • @kanguesso I agree with you but why are you surprised that they are not rolling 100 percent in the video.

  • @carlsongracieteam Pride thing or not, they went 100% hard. Dude i know about slow rolling and flow rolling where you simply concentrate on technique, timing, positioning and just overall sharpening your tools. However,There are times when you just go all out. It happens often and there is nothing wrong with it. It depends on what you want to get out of it. If you're just looking to improve technique, you can slow roll but if you're looking to simulate tournament feel, you go hard.

  • @kanguesso The thing between Renzo and Ryan was a pride thing, Renzo didn't want to lose to his younger brother. There is a different between rolling hard and going 100% tournament style. when you roll at the academy you should focus on trying new techniques and flowing.

  • @carlsongracieteam Really? one of the very beautiful aspects of BJJ is its versatility in that you can roll at a 100% just as well as slow roll. It has nothing to do with not being a good partner. I have been to many Top and well known BJJ schools that when it was time to roll, we rolled hard but with respect and care for the art and your partner. There are tons of videos on YouTube with Renzo Gracie rolling at 100% with his brothers. It is nothing new, maybe it is new to you!

  • @kanguesso why would they go 100% in a roll? If you roll 100% then you are probably not a very good training partner.
