  • and a bigger hdd. 80GB is tiny.

  • That 750watt PSU is overkill for your setup.

Also, id recommend upgrading the 8500GT to a 9600GT.

Other then that, its not bad.

  • maybe instead of having a 750 watt psu u couldve went for a 500 or maybe even a 450. maybe if you also went for storage instead of speed on the HD. If you did all this you couldve jumped ur cpu up to an E8400 and jumped ur GPU to a 9600GT or even 8800gt.

  • sweet

  • go to tigerdirect then look under gaming pcs

  • I need to get a gaming PC soon (am on a gaming laptop right now rather would use pc of course) any ideas of good ones around 1000$? or am I off building my own?

  • I like the PSU, I say "GO BIG or GO HOME" the more power for future upgrades saves you money in the long run(don't have to buy a bigger psu). The video card I would have gone with an 8800GT minimum. The hard drive 80gb, I am Assuming it is a "Raptor" I would have spent that money and got a SATAII HD minimum 500gb @ 7200rpm (I know it doesn't look cool or the name is not cool). The perfomance between the raptor and a 7200rpm HD is very slight.

  • you could have gotten a 550w power supply and a 8800GT Graphics card. You don't need to do an overkill on your power supply
