How sad that the haters have to spew their venom on projects like this. The alternative to the, perhaps idealistic, eco-village was yet another Starbucks/Hilton/Mcdonalds style faceless cloned resort, sucking the local fresh water, contributing nothing but money and pollution to the local community. At least these people were trying to do their world travel in a way that contributes to the locals.

I only watched the near start of the programme, with my 18 yr old son and thought , what a good idea ! watched it tonight 12/02/08 and am really upset, they don't respect the people there( the women talked about the clothes the girls wore, so did a guy) also this is a community who don't drink! if you are going to take on a task like this, at least respect the people you are doing it for. live their way or don't go there!
