what battery pack did you use in this ? surelly not the standard nicad one

No, just the standard nicad battery that came with it. It only lasted about 15 minutes.

Nice video:) U can get this things to go like ***** i have upgraded my own admiral (video on my channel) it is an amazing boat and the hull is great for higher speed..:) fantastic boat!

I purchased one of these boats b/c of it's great scale looks and twin screw/water cooled motors. Very scale but the radio/steering and weak hull make this prone to cracking. Too bad b/c this boat is really nice looking and begs to be hopped up. Nice video.
