Chicago Bands of the 60's

This was a 1983 news clip of a 'Chicago Bands of the 60's' reunion/record collector's event that took place in Hillside, IL, in October of '83. The bands that attended were the: American Breed, Buckinghams, Cryan' Shames, Flock, Ides of March, Mauds, New Colony Six, and Shadows of Knight. I taped this because my husband and I were there and got to meet everyone (again)!

this is friggin awesome, got out of the Marine Corps in '67, saw most all

of these groups during that year at different venues around Chicago.

saw the Breed, Buckinghams, Colony Six on New years Eve '67 in Rosemont, at

the Hyatt Regeny...great memories....saw Giammerse out here in Az. a few

summers ago, met him at a mutual friends wedding in Chicago sometime in

the 70s....thanks for posting....
