-----LYRICS-----

Walking down the backstreets
The moon is full and high
You feel your body start to sweat
Someone's about to die

You turn around and run
It's the only thing to do
Someone's about to die
And that someone is you

Time to run or fight
Off the strike of the beast

You hear the creature's hooves
Start to echo through your brain
You fear the demon's hellish howl
It makes you go insane

You smell the creature's fowl stench
Laced with death and waste
Don't lose your mind he's right behind
Breathing fire in your face

Time to run or fight
Off the strike of the beast
If you fail you'll be
The hellish demon's feast

Black as night he begins his flight
Wings outstretched in the cold
Glowing eyes, he wears no disguise
His evil has yet to be told

Breathing fire the beast is flying higher
Now he swoops down on his prey
All the world a horrid mess
Leaving black earth in decay

The beast prepares for battle
And you prepare to die
The blood running down your throat
Dulls you woeful cry
You can feel the power rage within your soul
When you die you go to hell and live forevermore

Time to run or fight
Off the strike of the beast
If you fail you'll be
The hellish demon's feast

  • @bubblechaser I never said they sucked. I said everything after Kill 'Em All was OKAY. I honestly think Exodus are wayyyy better and Exodus are one of the few Thrash Bands from the 80's that are still Thrashing today. That's why I believe they need to be headlining the Big 4. Seriously don't get all butt hurt over my opinion. Relax, it's the internet, don't take everything so serious.

  • @bubblechaser Truth hurts?

  • @JuggaSic Yeah

  • @MetalStorm96 because three of which are huge fuckin sellouts.

  • Metallica sucks soooo much how that band gets so much recognition beyond me! Slayer on the other hand might be the only band of the big 4 that has stayed consistent throughout their whole career. Personal opinion, if I were to put a Big 4 together, it'd be Slayer, Exodus, Kreator, and either Sodom or Overkill...Way to many amazing thrash metal bands are overshadowed by the crap that is Megadeth and Metallica- its sickening...

  • La cancion del Mega Wall of Death !!

  • @zwareshag Fuck that LOG arent thrash AT ALL... thrash is fuckin RAZOR, EXODUS, DARK ANGEL, SADUS, MORBID SAINT, EVILDEAD \m/ LOG is like some new ass groove type of shit

  • Thrash metal as i define it came from the Bay Area. but Lamb of god calls themselves that to so... but earlier mentioned sounds more classicaly skilled, everything else is duplicate of inspirational intention. Other bands just went faster, more distorted and vocals must sound like a massive crap in action these days.

  • Then what about kreator?

  • Why does it have to be a big 4? Why cant we just have a big 6 and throw Exodus and Testament in their as well.

  • @supernerd1123581321 Anthrax was fine in the '80s and '90s but it's more a crunchy style than a thrashy one

i think they are part of the big 4 because of their unique sound but you're right , exodus is way more thrashy than them and i would love that Exodus would play with sonisphere along with Metallica , Slayer and Megadeth but... this didn't happened ... you're right about this

  • @SCBbestof ok, seriously though, how did anthrax get into the big 4? that one never made sense to me
