At 6 p.m., he attended another more exclusive fundraiser about which details have not been officially released. The event reportedly took place at the home of Chicago real estate tycoon Neil Bluhm's, and came with a $30,000 per person price tag.
The elite, big ticket event was a more intimate dinner at the Four Seasons private residences.
50 people paid the price of $30,400.00 a piece to be able to rub elbows with President Obama.
Chicagoans Rob and Eileen Stein attended the dinner and said it was worth the price.
"It was a terrific night. It was historic for us to be able to sit next to the President and tell him how we feel about how he's running the country," Eileen Stein said.
Rob Stein said they got a gold plated paperweight signed by the President.
The dinner was catered by the Four Seasons and the main dish was fish.
The Steins said besides elite Chicago businessmen and women, the following people were on the guest list:
Mayor Daley
Maggie Daley
Valerie Jarrett
Pat Quinn
Alexi Giannoulias
Rahm Emmanuel
