1. SATAN ALWAYS ATTACKS WHEN WE ARE MOST VULNERABLE.
Amalek pounced on Israel when the nation was weary.

2. OUR WAR AGAINST SATAN IS SPIRITUAL.
Conventional weapons could not defeat Amalek. It was a spiritual war.
LIFE LESSON
3. GOD WILL GIVE US HELP WHEN WE ARE WEARY.
Moses needed help from Aaron and Hur to win the spiritual battle.
LIFE LESSON
4. SATAN IS DOOMED TO DESTRUCTION.
Amalek (Satan) may strut and strike now, but he is destined for perdition.
LIFE LESSON
5. WHEN OUR BATTLE WITH THE EVIL ONE IS OVER, WE NEED TO TAKE TIME TO WORSHIP.
Moses built an altar of praise for victory.
LIFE LESSON
6. SATAN WILL STRIKE AGAIN.
Although this battle was won, Moses warned the people that the evil one would be back.
LIFE APPLICATION
There is an evil one seeking to destroy us. That is why we need not just the provision of God, but also His protection. Jesus told a stunned Peter that Satan desired to have him. However, Jesus said, "I have prayed for you." Our loving God is both Provider and Protector.
