Yet another the past recedes cover, and done shambly at best. I love this song and figured it out by ear a couple a years ago. JF plays the solo a little diff (using some open strings) but is close enough, of course i have to screw up one note.

  • It's been the longest time since I have last logged in. Thank you for the love guys! I'm shocked to see that the video has gotten over 13,000 views!

  • nice playing! could you tell me the third chord of the refrain?

  • @laziba Thank you! =) The third chord in the chorus is an open string E minor. I think the chord you may be referring to though (the second one) is the D#dim. Hope this helps!

  • i just checked and they are overdubbed, it's impossible to play both parts unless you play with alternate tunings or move the bass up which isn't a big deal. it just won't sound as beefy. if i can get some software back on my computer (i had a virus) i'll do murderers

  • I appreciate the support guys! I'll throw another video up when i get the chance. I haven't figured out murderers but that would be fun to set a drum loop to, provided the guitar parts aren't overdubbed which can make the fingerings tricky

  • if your referring to the d# dimished chord in the chorus i'm pretty sure it is correct, he uses the diminished chord in other songs on curtains and also some chili pepper songs like road trippin, aside from that i think everything else is pretty straight forward. i think this song was tabbed incorrectly and thats why everyone thinks it's a D dominant 7th
