Fox figures have recently suggested that President Obama is anti-Catholic or anti-religion, following the administration's recent decision requiring church-affiliated organizations to provide health insurance plans that cover contraceptives for women.

There MUST be a separation of Church & State
The Govt has absolutely no business FORCING people to go against their basic religious beliefs.
The conntroversy about Birth Control Pills is bad enough, but what was far, far more egregious & inexcusable was when our govt prohibited Mormons from practicing polygamy - a very central belief
Who cares if a man has 2 or 3 wives? It's not hurting you!
It even caused Mormons to leave the USA - including Romney's ancestors.

Of course I can't agree with the Fox smear campaign, but the constitutional bounds overstepped in requiring religious institutions to pay for abortifacients is an issue broader than just "women's health" or the Catholic faith's understanding of "pro-life."
Although many Catholics don't practice what is (infrequently) preached to them on contraceptives, attacks on their church's liberty likely won't sit well with most Catholics in general. It really should concern Obama, this year especially.

You know, you have to hand it to Fox: they use every tool in their arsenal to smear anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that this president does/says/proposes. Of course, the problem is that the majority of voters out there does not know HOW to think THROUGH the fallacies, HOW to recognize un-truths spun as truth. That is the greatest tragedy. I can see how using rhetoric for one's side is inevitable. But not knowing how to locate it as rhetoric SHOULD be the ultimate UNAmerican thing out there.
