  • Funny thing: All these tunes originally used 1-bit samples as well. But hey, it was taking up way too much processing power to play a game behind it. Who knew, people wanted to play the game as well ? :)

  • @cdeenen

I had no idea about that, that's cool! I wonder what it would've sounded like with the samples in there. It's funny to think about a time when you had to be concerned about the music slowing down your game or taking up too much room.

When ever I hear that classic arpeggiated lead sound from Chiptunes or NES games I always think of this song right here

  • Criminally underrated NES game

  • I love this game and the soundtrack so much. It doesn't matter what the AVGN says, I LOVE it!

  • OMG, thank you so much for posting this!!! M.C Kids will always be my favorite 90s game, and I'm putting the soundtrack on my phone to listen to on my commute.

  • Awesome OST, thanks for the links.

  • @TheAzureNightmare

Hm, strange. I had always heard this credited to Follin- and it sounded a bit like his work as well.

  • @KomaruMedare Actually, this was composed by Charles Deenen.
