Do you want to learn how to use articles? Open your refrigerator and practice. In this lesson, I'm preparing for a party and I show you when to use some + an uncountable noun and when to use a or the + a countable noun.

  • pass me THE broccoli!

  • You can certainly say 'the broccoli' - 'the' can go in front of any uncountable. 'Pass me the milk.' Just as you can say 'the' in front of uncountable nouns, you can say 'same' in front of them. Another example - I need to buy some gas.

  • I find your explanation very helpful. My first language is Spanish ,and as most Spanish speakers I still use THE, a lot! It is really good to know when to used it and when to avoid it.Nice videos!Thank you so much!

  • Your grammar is so good, I didn't recognize that you're not perfectly fluent. In this comment, I see one other thing for you to fix...(it may just be a typo)... the correction is - to use it instead of to used it!

  • What about a video for beginner learners? My beginners group is learning names of food using: there is/there are. My students would not be able to understand most of this video.

  • missing only one text (subtitles) in its videos Kim.

To help in learning. The rest this good. Kiss!
