K- Sweety. Who is coming back? What was the dream about? [she stayed silent.]
N- Hunny you have to tell us so we can help you.
S- [quiet voice.] My mom. [the boys looked at eachother with simpathetic faces.
J- Sweety, she can never come back. She's gone now. She's not coming back.
S- Yes she will Joey. You have to help me. [she latched onto him, holding him tight and not letting go. He kissed the top of her head.]
J- It's okay sweety. I won't let her come near you. You want me to sleep the rest of the night in here with you?
S- Yes please Joey.
N- Joe you have school tommorrow. I don't so why don't I stay with her?
J- Oh. Is that okay with you Steph?
S- Yeah as long as one of you is in here when I wake up. [she smiled at them and they smiled back.]
K- Okay well Joe and I better go back to our rooms and you 2 better go back to sleep.
S- Okay Kevy. Love you. [she kissed their cheeks and hugged them and they left. She got back into the bed with Nick and she cuddled up to him, kissed his cheek and hugged him tight. About 5 minutes later she was asleep, and soon, so was he.]
*next morning*
[Steph slowly opens her eyes trying to adjust them to the light that has seeped through the window and made her room very bright. She feels a hand stroking her hair the way Aaron would do when he slept over and a quiet tear rollled down her face. She wiped it away and slowly turned around in her bed to find Nick looking at her smiling.]
N- [whispers] Morning princess.
S- [smiles] Morning Nicky. [she kissed hiis cheek and just stared up at the pink ceiling over her.]
N- [looks up where she's looking.] What are you looking at?
S- How pink this bedroom is.
N- Oh [chuckles.] How about we get dressed and eat breakfast so we can go out shopping for your room?
S- Joe told you?
N- Yep. We are all going. You, me, Joe, Kevin, and our girlfriends.
S- [she sat up in bed and looked at him with her head cocked to the side.] Girlfriends?
N- Yeah. We made plans with them last week to go shopping together today and since you are here you get to come with.
S- [half smiles] Whoopie! [sarcastic]
N- Come on cheer up you will like them. You know one of them already.
S- I do?
N- Yeah. You'll see. Now get in that shower missy.
S- Nicky?
N- Yeah?
S- Can I go in sweats?
N- Sure hunny. Whatever you feel like weaaring is fine.
S- How are your girlfriends going?
N- Probably all dressed up or in jeans and heels and a shirt.
S- Okay, then I'll wear something else.
N- Babie you don't have to dress like them if you don't want to.
S- No, it's fine I just don't want to stand out.
N- Okay babie. Well you can put on sweats while we wait and then you can change when they come if you want.
S- Okay. Thanks Nicky.
N- No problem hunny now go. [he kissed her forehead and she gave him a hug. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close to his body. There was a knock on the door.]
N- Come in. [the door opened and both Kevin and Joe stepped through.]
K- Morning.
N+S- Morning.
J- Hey sleepy heads.
S- That's not nice Joseph. Doon't make me shave your head.
J- You wouldn't.
S- Wanna bet? [she got all in his face and Joe started to tickle her. She began to laugh histerically.] Not fair! Let go of me pleaseeeeeeeeee!
J- Say it.
S- NO!
J- Fine. [he tickled her harder.]
S- OKAY! OKAY! JOSEPH ADAM JONAS HAS THE BEST HAIR IN THE WORLD! [he stopped tickling her.]
J- Good girl.
N- She's not a dog.
J- We still don't know about that.
K- Enough. Nick and Steph shower now please.
N+S- Okay.
K- Thank you. Joseph help me make breakfast. Come on.
J- Ugh fine! [the boys leave Steph's room and she grabs her towel and clothes and goes to he bathroom to take a shower. 45 minutes later Steph is finishing straightening her hair. She is wearing: http://www.polyvore.com/sweats/set?id=11472617 There is a knock on the door.]
S- Come in.
