What a great era! The old Carvel Ice cream ads voiced by Tom Carvel himself! One of the more memorable 77 WABC TV spots during the era when Dan Ingram did mornings! The "Move Closer To Your World" news theme is legendary!

met Lyons walking down Central Park South. Very nice man. Stopped and talked movies for a minute then had to move on, and did so very classily.

I'd say it's amazing that you remember a particular Stewart Klein review, but I remember a few myself. Always thought he was better than Gene Shalit.

My Jeff Lyons run-in: On a cross-town bus with my wife, sitting across from him (otherwise an empty bus) , my wife and I whispering "where did we see him"?. I say "The weather guy or something?" He shouts at us "Movies! I review Movies! Not the weather! Sheesh"! Funny marital moment.
