What makes him so great guitarslim56. You ask- What makes him so great? What makes Mark Sganga so Great? First off, it's an intermediate classical guitar piece not a beginning one. 2nd- he knows-He knows much.(Head, hands, and Heart) People win Competitions by having Charisma. Mark Clearly was victorious due to his abundance of guitar charisma, and humbleness. I've seen Mark Perform on a few occasions, and he leaves me gobsmacked every time I see him. Someone please clue me in. Mark seems like a really nice guy, but to me his playing is not impressive. He starts off by playing a piece for beginning classical guitarists. In the whole clip, his tone and technique are less impressive than your average undergraduate classical-guitar major. How is it that he won a competition? What makes him so great?
