You make it sound as if you are speaking for every person. I'm a gay person and I know for myself that the very idea of intimacy with a feeling makes me want to wretch! (no offense ladies). There is no fluidity of sexuality in me. As far as I'm concerned only a schizophrenic person is sexually fluid.

Most of the planet's psychologists and psychiatrists would disagree with you - as would homosexuals themselves. You are either gay or straight - anything in between is LUST.

@Popinion Maybe God destined you for celibacy? Jesus said, and Paul to, that some has that calling and gift. Then it's futile to search after hetrosexuality... That's my expereince.

@Popinion7 I have over 40 years of experience with the so called "ex gay movement" ... Any other suggestions? If you don't know what I mean by Sy Rogers being more gay than any of my gay friends, I really don't know how to explain it to you. To help you along, one of my friends when he saw the video, asked "is that a man or a woman?".

@Popinion7 Because attraction is not a choice. I never chose to be attracted to women, There are many books on the psychology of sexuality. There is no literature other than that in the ex-gay movement that supports the view that sexual preference is a conscious decision.

@Popinion7 People outside the US don't notice much about what happens in your country. I didn't know who that person was till I googled him. I've met Sy, I like him, I just don't believe that he is genuinely attracted to women. I don't think he is a bad guy.

@Popinion7 I assume that you mean homosexual? What is "homoseksual (or homosexual) lifestyle? I am a gay man deeply involved with a Christian lifestyle. I'm not exactly certain what you are asking. Do I support the so called 'ex gay" movement? Not in the least.

@BobbyinNashville I am 100% agreement with you, I don't live in the USA, I think it is between the individual and god (or whatever they believe in) to reconcile this issue, but the problem is when you get people like this it is ok to say X is wrong, but you know they have an underlying evil agenda; history has taught us this but we don't pay attention. More power to Sy yes but leave others alone.

Sy's problem from the beginning seem to be more about being an outcast than it was being homosexual. He wanted to fit in and now he does and he makes a lot of money doing it. His story is his own and has no relevance whatsoever to anyone else. If he's happy, more power to him, but he should not be spreading his dangerous message of hate and intolerance. Sy is also in league with Paul Cameron, a known liar,deceiver and charlatan.

@timhrim Your Pastor Sy Rogers is about 100 times more GAY than any of my gay friends. Just how deep in the sand do you people hae your heads stuck anyway? Does integrity mean NOTHING to you?
