Piece Hall: Renaissance Workshop

In June 2008 AMI was commissioned to produce this short consultation film that could be shown to developers and decision makers.

Young People from Halifax were introduced to Renaissance; a regeneration project for Calderdale. During a packed day of creative activities including drama, model making and collage, students from Calderdale College were asked to consider how to make the most of the historic grounds of the Piece Hall.

The workshop was delivered by Beam as part of the MBED partnership on behalf of Integreat Yorkshire's Partnership Skills programme. Beam offer creative consultation to developers and others engaging with communities about the design of public places and spaces.
