  • how do I install it on the internal drive?

  • Ubuntu has an installer. If your AAO has a larger enough internal drive (8+ GB), then the installer can also set up Ubuntu to dual-boot along side the factory installed operating system.

  • That look quite cool, I've recently found my favorite linux distro, It's based on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy and has wine pre-configured. It's called gOS. I've been on and off linux but this made me make the switch as compared to windows the boot up time is next to nothing with the gnome desktop manager but KDE is optional.

  • ok, thanks

  • The Netbook Remix versions using the desktop shown. If you do not want this type of desktop and desire a more-typical desktop, use the standard version of Ubuntu. This desktop (on the Netbook Remix version) can be uninstalled.
