QR National Pipe Train.

The popular QR "pipe train" powers it's way up the West section of the Tennyson Branch,catching me out with it's pace,as it takes another load of Gas pipes out west. QR won the contract to move more than 260,000 tonnes of pipes from the Port of Brisbane to West QLD,for the new Natural Gas project.Then,a down coalie takes advantage of the new "freight only" loop and high speed turnouts as it rolls past my Depot and heads to Fisherman Islands.

LOL!!!......Interesting thought that??,though I think it can be applied to this country's( Governments) atttitude to rail transport in general!. While narrow guage was used in many countries (USA & Great Britian) to name two,as a cheaper way to build in the early days of rail development, it was soon realised that having different guages severely hampered growth and efficency of the country as a whole!.America and G' Britian standardised in the late 1800's, we still have 3??

Thanks mate,I nearly missed it,was tracking it on the train overview and lost it through Y-pilly,he was into it big time!.Going up the Range soon to get it at Spring Bluff,there are some good spots at Laidley ,look forward to your clip.
